Anna Holiday Parade
The City of Anna would like to invite you to their first Anna Holiday Parade to be held on November 30, 2019 starting at 5:30 p.m. The parade will start at East Jefferson St. and South Main St. and proceed North on Main St. The parade will conclude in the West Davie parking lot with the lighting of the Christmas tree. Honor Wreaths for Veterans
The not-for-profit group, Honor Wreaths for Veterans and Wreaths Across America is asking for help to ensure fallen veterans are remembered and honored this Christmas. Each December, on National Wreaths Across America Day, the mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out locally through a wreath-laying ceremony at Mounds National Cemetery. The Cobden High School basketball teams and cheerleaders are hosting a "Hometown Heroes" night to show our support for our local military, police, and firefighters. All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Anna Veteran's Home, Cobden Police Department's Shop with a Cop program, and the Cobden Fire Department.
