The City of Anna will be flushing hydrants on October 14, 2025 starting at 7 a.m. This may cause discoloration of your water which should clear up within a couple days. Please be patient. For inquiries contact Anna City Garage at 833-7813.
Fall is here and it is that time of year for the Leaf and Limb Pick-Up. This years dates will be Nov. 17-21 and Dec. 15-19. Call the City Hall at 618-833-8528 by Nov. 14 to by picked up in November or by Dec. 12 to be picked up in December. Please note you must be on the list to have your leaves and limbs picked up.
Ground arrangements may be placed starting November 1, 2025 and stay down until March 1, 2026. Remember no glass or Shepherd’s Hooks and do not block the aisles. If you walk your dog, please clean up. The Cemetery is open from dawn till dusk. For questions, call the Anna City Garage at 618-833-8528.
BIG TRASH PICKUP
The city is offering big trash pickup the week of October 7 – 9, 2025. All trash must be set out with your regular trash to guarantee pick up. Items that do not qualify are electronics, tires, wiring, construction debris, hazardous chemicals, etc. If you are unsure whether an item qualifies, please contact Republic Services at 1-800-631-1156.
