Friendly Reminder

In 2016 the City of Anna passed Ordinance 2016-10 permitting the use of certain non-highway vehicles on certain streets and roads within it’s corporate limits. With this ordinance there are regulations in effect to help keep our community safe, some of them include having current liability insurance for the vehicle, the operator must be 21 years of age with a valid Driver’s License, and  all persons who operate a non-highway vehicle must comply with all traffic laws of the State of Illinois and the City of Anna.  To obtain the Ordinance you can find it on our Forms page or click here. To obtain a one year permit, applications can be found at the Anna Police Department, please stop by and pick one up!

Thank you for your cooperation,

City Hall

New Alert System

City of Anna website alert system

Depending on when you visited our new website lately, you might’ve noticed an orange bar across the top of the pages! This orange bar is our all new community alert system. When the need arises, we’ll use this system to bring your attention to information of all kinds, such as boil water orders, road closures and other things of that nature. This message system is not intended to replace emergency alert systems such as storm sirens or 911 and you should not rely solely on this system for your emergency info! Customers can also sign up for our newsletter and receive these important messages via email.  We implemented this simply to act as another avenue through which we can make our community aware of important things going on in the area!
